Notes
- All visits include guidance from the MHNC-UP staff.
- For groups with fewer than 20 participants, the visits to the Botanical Garden will be charged at 20€.
- Teachers or adults accompanying groups of students are allowed in free of charge (one adult/teacher per 10 students).
- The prices for the practical activities are for groups of 10 to 30 participants.
- Each pack has the approximate duration of 2h30.
- For groups with fewer than 20 members, the amount to be charged for the pack will be adjusted in accordance to the price list for visits to the Botanical Garden – 20€ per group.
Temporary Exhibits
The MHNC-UP offers guided tours to its temporary exhibits, which may or may not be done in together with visits to permanent exhibits at the Hall of Biodiversity and the Botanical Garden of Porto, and with practical activities. Seasonal activities for children
- 75 €/week or
- 20 €/day
For children aged between 6 and 12 years-old. Includes insurance, and all materials for the activity, as well as permanent guidance from two members of staff.
Personalized/pedagogical workshop
- 50 €/week or
- 15 €/day
For children aged between 6 and 12 years-old. Does not include meals. Includes insurance and materials, as well as permanent guidance from two members of staff.
Themed birthday parties
- 15 € per child (minimum 12 children, maximum 30 children)
Themed activities
- 4 € per participant
For all audiences, duration of 60 to 90 minutes and for 10 to 20 participants.
Themed lectures and pedagogical/personalized workshops
- 45 € per lecture (number of participants: 10 to 50)
- 20 € per workshop + 1 € per participant (number of participants: 10 to 20)
For all audiences, duration of 60 minutes.
For the lectures and pedagogical workshops that take place outside the MHNC-UP, there is an added cost of a) transportation (32 cents per Km in accordance with current laws), and b) necessary materials.
