Hall of Biodiversity – Ciência Viva Center

Participation is free and open to families and young people, subject to space availability and prior registration here.

On Sunday, January 18, 2026, MHNC-UP will host a scientific dissemination event at the Hall of Biodiversity - Ciência Viva Center and the Botanical Garden, as part of the European Project SmartCHANGE, dedicated to promoting cardiovascular and metabolic health among children and young people aged 6 to 18.

Organised by the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto (FADEUP), this event will take place between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Participants will be able to engage in interactive scientific health information activities, adapted to different age groups, addressing topics such as healthy lifestyles, balanced nutrition, and the importance of prevention from childhood onwards. The programme also includes a puppet show,, combining science, creativity, and fun.

This event is part of the SmartCHANGE Project's mission, which aims to raise awareness in the community about healthy and sustainable choices, promoting scientific knowledge as an essential tool for improving health throughout life.
