Dupla Exposição (Double Exposure)
From 15 December 2025 to 15 February 2026, MHNC-UP will host the photographic exhibition Dupla Exposição (Double Exposure) at its Core Pole, organised by Casa Comum of U.Porto.
Double Exposure stems from the joint desire of photographer Sara Correia and researcher Alexandra Matias, who brought together eight pairs of twins representing a diverse age range, from 12 months to 80 years old. The sessions began with coffee or tea, make-up and the sharing of stories, experiences and journeys. Connections versus distances, the identical versus the different, harmony versus tension and the intimacy shared by individual personalities were sought. Throughout the process, the aim was to explore the depth of this mystical connection between true twins.
