De 1 a 20 de outubro, a Galeria da Biodiversidade – Centro Ciência Viva acolhe a exposição “From, with and by nature”, de Ana Sofia Ribeiro.
“From, with and by nature” é uma mostra individual da artista emergente e finalista do Mestrado em Artes Plásticas – Pintura da Faculdade de Bela Artes da Universidade do Porto. Operando no campo da pintura, desenho e escultura, Ana Sofia Ribeiro apresenta-nos uma obra assente numa trajetória que desconstrói a matéria artística enquanto agente social e que funde o espaço natural com o tecnológico. Através de transmutações metabólicas e simbólicas, esta exposição problematiza a relação simbiótica entre o ser humano e a natureza, questionando a sua própria condição hierárquica e refutando arquétipos de produção convencionais poluentes, com o objetivo de promover uma consciência ética ecológica no mundo da arte e testar a autenticidade do silogismo sustentável.

From October 1st to the 20th, the Hall of Biodiversity – Ciência Viva Center hosts the exhibition “From, with and by nature”, by Ana Sofia Ribeiro.
“From, with and by nature” is a solo display by the emerging artist and finalist in the Master’s Degree in Fine Arts – Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. Operating in the field of painting, drawing and sculpture, Ana Sofia Ribeiro brings us a work based on a trajectory that deconstructs artistic material as a social agent and fuses natural space with technology. Through metabolic and symbolic transmutations, this exhibition problematizes the symbiotic relationship between human beings and nature, questioning their own hierarchical condition and refuting polluting conventional production archetypes, with the aim of promoting ecological ethical awareness in the art world and testing the authenticity of the sustainable syllogism.
