The Natural History and Science Museum of the University of Porto (MHNC-UP) releases to the public its own contingency plan for the safe reopening of its facilities to the public.

The guidelines in this plan were written in agreement with the University of Porto’s ‘Recommendations for the resumption of in person activities’, which can be found here up.pt/covid-19).

These guidelines are to be used on a flexible basis, which is to say they can be subject to revisions and updates in accordance with government instructions, as well as with any requirements made by the University of Porto’s managing bodies and Task Force for COVID-19. They can also be subject to changes due to potential conflicts or issues that might arise as the plan is being implemented, so as to ensure the better functioning of any and all these instructions.
